SIX Batman Movies in ONE YEAR? DC, What Are You Doing?!

Entertainment News: SIX Batman Movies in ONE YEAR? DC, What Are You Doing?!

New leaks claim that we could be seeing as many as six movies in 2019 to celebrate 8 years of Batman. Gotham City Sirens? Nightwing? Animated movies? The Batman? WHY NOT ALL THESE THINGS? Apparently. Plus, there are some other rumors running around, like that Wonder Woman is expected to perform below DC's other superhero flicks, directors continue the DC movie carousel, and Suicide Squad 2 might get a new leading lady to replace Harley Quinn.

Let's all take a moment to relish that Jon said they have to have sexy Dick.  wink

I REALLY hope Wonder Woman does well, and not just because she was my first love... well Wonder Woman and Prince. But that's another story for another day.

I've admittedly always been partial to Marvel, but I want DCEU to win, too. I love seeing the stories come to life on the big screen. While I think all those movies are excellent choices, and I am pretty excited about their production, I sincerely hope they're not all presented in one year. That would be a buzzkill.

Rest assure, none of these alleged Batman films will come out if Wonder Woman has a similar reception to Suicide Squad and BvS. WB has ZERO idea what they're doing and it just shows with how they're handling the background work on their films and that impacts their films immensely. Where's Cyborg movie and Green Lantern Corps?? What about Shazam? DC WB needs to shut up and get movies out timely.

Rushing movies out timely is exactly what's hurting them. They have these movies planned and won't just throw out a dozen screenplays if Wonder Woman does badly. I think at this point they should KNOW that if WW does bad it's because their last two movies have been bad and people are skeptical, and that has no reflection on WW itself. If the DC Cinematic Universe is to be saved, Wonder Woman is the movie that'll do it.

Just a reminder that Marvel does like 4 movies per year, not even counting Fantastic Four, X-men, or Spiderman and that DC doesn't really have many popular characters outside the Batman bubble.

The difference is that Marvel movies have had proper planning and they know how to produce a very good movie respecting the original comics whilst making interesting enough to be enjoyable to watch. DC has darker stories that haven't done well in the eyes of the public and even when they try to brighten them up by re-shooting scenes they just take you out of the movie all together. DC is trying to catch up with Marvel's success by rushing movies out without the proper planning and direction when their most successful movie was Batman and all others have flopped.
