This exemplifies MP gaming with randos on PC. The versatility of a PC is also the biggest weakness when it comes to securing the system. There are so many ways to accomplish the same task of cheating. Add to it that players feel a lack of respect from CoD thanks to the heavy push for microtransactions, players will respect the game even less. Add to it that word is spreading about hacking, players will be more interested in how much better they can hack than others.

Hacking a game is such a small step from simply getting a stubborn application to launch. Is it right? Definitely not, but we already have the know-how. It's now just a question of whether we will show the restraint.

Signing on with friends is pretty must the safest bet on the PC, but it's not a sure bet, either.
