Fortnite Cheaters SUED!

Game News: Fortnite Cheaters SUED!

Watch out, cheaters -- Epic is on the hunt for people spoiling the Fortnite: Battle Royale experience for others. In fact, they want to get cheaters so bad that they're hitting two cheaters with lawsuits. This isn't even the first time they've sued a cheater, either.

I will cheat in single player games, so it only effects me, and that cheating usually happens after i have beaten the game. I never cheat in multiplayer games, that is unfair to others

Is there anyone seriously upset that cheaters are getting sued? Out of those people how many of them are cheaters? How hard is it to play fair?

Side note. I really am Enjoying Fortnite PVP. I'm not big on pvp but Its simple and fun even when I suck its still fun.

On a more serious note... have there not also been companies sued by players for not doing anything about cheaters? If these cases end up being won it will be easier for player to do this and so publishers like Epic and Riot might want to be careful about this before they build a rod for their own back - because a lot of their games are infested with cheaters never-the-less...

Also it's Epic engine that allows the cheaters a lot of the time as well! Oops.  love_letter

They should be thankful it's only a lawsuit. Other players would not be so kind.

I still don't get cheating. It's a game. What's the point if you don't win honestly? What do you actually get? Is gambling involved? Is there some sort of tangible prize involved?

Cheaters likely don't realize that, to the developers and distributors, it's a product and that developers and distributors have an interest to protect it. I can see cheaters thinking: "It's just a game. It's no big deal." Business is business, and cheating is messing with their business. It is a big deal. For devs and distros, it's not a game.

I feel a kind of sadistic glee when cheaters are slapped in the face with a dose of reality.
