Game News: Xbox One Has the BIGGEST EXCLUSIVES? ...

Xbox is talking the talk at Gamescom. In spite of delays that put Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 both out of 2017, one Xbox marketing exec thinks Xbox is just delivering too many huge exclusives to handle.

I don't think they have the biggest.  Sure they have quite a few good game franchises I have have enjoyed and played 100s of hours on, but I don't think have the biggest.

When saying they have biggest, it would be nice to have some context to go with it. If they could clarify it on franchises who sold the game franchises have sold most amount of copies, made the most money, have more games within the franchises, the longevity of the franchises. etc.

I'm waiting on the step back XBOX made with the UI mainly.  Once they make as easy to use as the XBOX 360 UI then I think about buying one.  XBOX One is the only console I don't have.  Sad to say they did a lot of missteps before its release.

So I went to PC and haven't looked back.  Not to mention I have calculated the amount of money I have spent on PC gaming and how much I would have if I would have gone with the XBOX One and I have saved money.

I'm still waiting for Xbox to give me a reason to stay with them. I like Forza Horizon, love Halo, and Gears, but GoW4 was ehh. I love games with gold and adding backwards compatibly, however the games added to BC seem to be random with few good ones. The constant UI changing is getting ridiculous. I WAS excited for the One X (not the name though), but they haven't given me a real reason to get one.

Phil Spencer says that Microsoft is working on plenty of exclusives, but doesn't want to show anything because they're years off... who cares. People have been waiting with baited breath for KH3 and other games for years. It's something to look forward to. It can be a beacon to potentially draw players to the system, because if they sandbag too much they'll lose more players than they already have. I've been with Xbox since the very beginning, but I don't know anymore.

I don't think Cuphead is going to do that well on Xbox, for the same reason that Rise of the tomb raider did better on PS4. The majority of xbox users seem to be focused solely on FPS or sports games. Nothing on xbox interests me, that's why I don't have one. As for Cuphead, I'll just get it on PC, and they're not gonna like how much I'm gonna pay for it.

I thought xbox makes most of their memberships via xbox gold.  If they could make a new perk, such as a youtube alternative for content creators without ads for gold members, they could make a real push for more market share.  All they would need is a good amount of demonetized creators to post their videos on the new engine (maybe shift the focus of, and re-brand Mixer), pay them, ????, Profit!

Every Xbox I've bought has been for Halo. Sure, they'll have a few other games I buy, but it always comes back to Halo. I like the system, I like its controllers the most (which are great for PC gaming too), but when you get down to it, it's always been about the exclusives for me. So I can see why they're so exclusive-focused. And, while I'm much more invested in Xbox exclusive franchises than Play Station's, "biggest" seems like an odd way to phrase it.

People buy Xbox because they are pushed into buying one to be able to play those exclusives.

How I see it is that Xbox is more targeting the competitive multiplayer gamers (Halo, CoD, BF, Overwatch, Destiny,...) While PS4 is targeting variety and single player gamers. PS4 just has the better SP games.

ms need something soon ive been with xbox since the 1st one but ive barely used my xbox this year ive used my switch more even if you exclude zelda and ive used my ps4 way more than ever.  ms dont seem to have an answer to games like horizon zero dawn, persona 5 or breath of the wild.  the only upcoming game that even looks interesting is sea of thieves and id bet thats great if its achievement hunter vs funhaus but in the real world will be an awful experience
