Breaking News: Nintendo Switch is selling pretty well. Better than expected, apparently, because Nintendo is doubling their output of hardware over the next year to try to meet demand.

    I was able to purchase the switch in-store on launch day.


    I was 6th of 23 consoles.

    going to get hated for this but the more people try to hype the switch the longer i feel like i should just wait till it gets its own 'pro' version

    Yeah yeah yeah, great news for people who want a Switch. But what about ramping up production on their other extremely sought after console they released last year, the NES Mini Classic? I'm still trying to get one of those!

    Doubling production, not output. Output assumes the actual console output is being doubled.

    I've noticed that 2nd hand Wiis are also becoming very scarce... looks like parents are so desperate to get their children a Nintendo the old Wiis are having snapped up to make up for the lack of Switches on shelves... (that and it's about 25 quid for a 2nd hand Wii!)
