anyone else see a constant white flash, while watching the shows on here? it looks like someone is taking a pic with a flash on, constantly. its as if someone keeps raising then lowering the gamma all the time in short bursts. its really annoying and i wish i knew if there was some way to fix it.

Sapkowski is salty because he didn't think the game would be a success and didn't negotiate big enough revenue for himself. Now that they're making a tv series he's all happy again, cause - more money! He's just a greedy bitch, that's what he is.

I don't know if I like this more or if I just miss the Patch. I'm not sold on the name, it just feels juvenile and the transitions are a little campy. However, I realize I'm probably older than a lot of RT audience and that can skew younger. I can forgive a name, the content is what I'm here for.

I liked The Patch for the news a lot and would get most of my info of latest games from it but also I never watched The Know, so maybe that's just pulling audience away if you make it too news-filled.

Either way, I'm really happy this is back in some form!

I agree that Sonic is the most mismanaged, but Megaman is a close second. They would take so much more of my money if they would make more Megaman games. I played every single one of the Megaman games on the DS and the 3DS, and I am not ashamed.

So glad they have shortened the segments. I think one of the problems with the patch was that sometimes there would be an hour conversation about the technical side of vr which not going to lie was a lot to get through and I think made people stop watching.

Quite honestly, I'd be ok with them spending more time on their News segment. I feel like some things are lost when rushing through things so fast, but then again, I can see why they would do that since it leaves more time for them to talk about other stuff. Either way, I'm just glad that the Patch Crew is back... though I wouldn't mind longer episodes *wink wink*

Glitch Please sounds like the name of a sci-fi comedy. Nobody is going to have any idea that its a podcast. Just call it something neutral, something that actually sounds like a podcast. I like the news speedrun, it makes sure that they cover many topics without talking about one thing for half the podcast. I did like the patch being only an hour. There's just so much RT content to watch its hard to watch the shows I want to watch when the shows keep getting longer.

Just want to start off saying I am loving this podcast so far cant wait to keep seeing how it develops further.  I found the Nintendo news very interesting in particular the Switch Mini? That sounds crazy it's a DS with only one screen based on what was shown in the podcast which I know is just an idea not something confirmed but i dont know how I would feel about that.  I am hoping they will talk about the new 2DS XL that was just announced today in an episode at some point too because I would like to see everyone's opinions on it.  I as negative about it initally but as I thought about it more it made more sense to me.

Just finished both episodes of Glitch Please, not 100% sold on name but I think that is pretty much set as it is.

I like that the timer does not start now till after the news is said. That being said I don't want to see that clock on the screen. If you must have a tone go off after the time has run out but the clock is just an annoying distraction on the screen and I hope you will consider dropping it.

I am not a fan of the little music loop that plays on the title cards hoping you can find something else.

Also last week you guys talked about including a place for people to send in topics for discussion hopefully that will be followed thru upon.

Really dig the new format but if I am being honest I will miss the free form discussion that we got on the Patch I really thought we had some great episodes because of the lack of format but this does cover a lot more news and discussion of the week's topics.

I think you guys have done a great job, it might sound a bit weird coming from a sponsor but I really hope there is no post show. The show is longer now already, and enough RT shows have post shows its hard to keep up sometimes, but if you choose to do one maybe those can be the community topics that are sent in.

Great job all around and I hope we get to see a rotating member of RT in the 3rd chair each week. (outside of the Core group: Ryan, Ashley and Gus)

Everyone is making comments about the timer, and I'm going to put my two cents in also (and if has already been discussed, my apologies). I think that the timer should be extended to 3 minutes a piece. 2:30 just seems a bit to short for everyones opinions, and with most of the times you are going over anyway. After the 3 minutes are up, it's a hard cut off and can be tabled for the end of the show or perhaps a post show?

3 min seems like a good idea. Maybe they should add the music that plays when your drowning in Sonic 2 at the 15 seconds left mark. Well Sonic is copyrighted but I'm sure they could whip up something that invokes similar feelings.

I kinda like the non-set. also something cool would be a "what are you playing" sort of thing, like a lesser known game that you stumble upon and has a unique feeling, the "i wish i could play this game for the first time" sort of things. i feel like this is more of a wrap up/ commentary of the prior week's reports from the know.

I love the concept of this podcast, i prefer audio stuff becuase i don't want to focus on the video as i got games to play but the game news and discussion is fun.

I know you guys like nintendo but maybe add more PC in there, you seem to cover console well. I know you put realeases on The Know but add abit more news and recommendations (personal opinions/ reviews would be cool)  would'nt hurt however i like layout to this show already. Also please don't go hard on stuff like VR, it's nice to be updated but to me it still needs 5 years before it somthing i'll consider and therefore have little interest, i asume most hardcore gamers will feel the same i think.

I love The Witcher games and books. I played the second in the series and enjoyed it greatly, got the third game when it came out and fell in love. When I learned they where basted off books I knew I have to read them (well listen, they are available on Audible.com) and I greatly enjoyed doing so.

I don't know what deal Andrzej Sapkowski made for the audio versions of the books but he made a sale because of the games. If it had not been for the games I probably never would have herd of The Witcher books and that would be a shame, they are spectacular audio books.

I think that AH and RT has a lot of the individual parts of the original show covered.  So, for this new version of show, maybe you could branch a little more into getting guests with devs and people in the VG industry that Rooster Teeth has surely made contact with in the past and venture more into the nitty gritty of gaming.

Set wise, I think having a strong central focus on the host (which can vary) and not just an arrangement of chairs like all of the others have.  The show exhibits more of an importance and reverence for the subject matter that others do not have.  I am sure Marcus, or someone else, could make a VG throne of sorts.

Also, since AHWU is now AH Weapon Unboxing, there are gaps there that could definitely move over here and let them focus on being  fools and characters over there with much gusto.

Alas, the above format is covered just about everywhere from IGN to every fan's little corner, but I think RT could do this in a way that could expand to be a more open format than the critique-heavy review sites where news and introspection could be carefree without an audience ready to judge every word.

I like the structure of the show, I love the name, but I'm at that point where hearing that timer sound gets an audible groan. It's obvious by the talking over the timer that people have more to say, and we want to hear your opinions, so it sucks when you just get cut off.

Keep the structure, not the timer, perhaps? A hard cut just feels abrupt.

Also, Miles is so enthusiastic and opinionated and I'd love to see him as a regular on the show. He fits in perfectly.

I enjoy this format. It's definitely more free form, while staying structured within the news segments.

Going on the topic of nostalgia, I completely agree with Miles (whom I always love seeing in content such as this) and Tim (whom I enjoy as a friend). It really has to feel like how you remember it feeling. Also, with Sonic, a 2D game is what they need. For instance, New Super Mario Bros took Mario back to its roots when people were expecting nothing but 3D Marios for the rest of time. Now it is a very well selling series in the franchise.

I'm really enjoying Glitch, Please. Can't wait to see where it goes.

Demos increase the work load for any Dev team since they have to put in work to carve an experience from the full game or create something new that gives you a taste of the work. So demos would probably only be viable for larger teams. Also people would go with demos over spending money up front to demo something.

That's assuming they're intentionally making the demo. Xbox One has a feature as part of their marketplace that will allow you to have full access to the game for 2 hours (not every game has it) and you keep the save file in case you do purchase the game. It makes it easier for the consumer and doesn't burden the developers so there's a way to compromise without too much hassle.

Man this made me realize how much I missed The Patch! I think this new format is really interesting, you can tell it is still in its early stages but it filled that void. I sort of agree with the notes about the "speedrun" news section but I do like having the time limit on things they just need to have a bit more time to talk about things. Maybe something like 5 minutes or even 4 would be better. You can just really tell they have so much more to say about the topics.

I love Miles in the show, though I disagree with him in terms of sonic. I'm one of the rare fans that love both the classic and modern games. Given there was a dark age of Sonic ex: Shadow the Hedgehog, 06, etc (those games are horrible)., but Unleashed and Colors were solid and amazing games that brought love back into the series for me. (Also given Sonic Boom is terrible, it wasn't made by Sonic team so I choose to ignore that one XD.) I think Sonic Team learned their lesson after 06 and after the dark age ended, they mostly got their shit together. Lost World, Colors, and Generations are some of my favorites at this point in time in the series. I'm really looking forward to Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces and hope they are amazing games.

Because it's a first only shoe during the pilots, and if they plug it in non-first productions then people who can't watch it because they can't afford membership will be upset? Just a guess.

I think they should at least mention it in their other podcasts but not talk too much about it. Give it a plug, say it's a podcast focused solely on gaming, tell everyone that the first 4 (if tradition holds) are only available for first members, then plug a 30 day free trial at the end. Shouldn't even take 30 seconds to give people that much information.

Good episode. Excellent group dynamic to make for good discussions. Miles was a hoot. I’d be happy to see him show up from time to time.

Still some things that may need to be addressed before this show gets into full swing though.

-The name still doesn’t really click with me. I’m totally fine with ya’ll wanting to do something new with the name but... Not Glitch Please.

-The Speed Run news segment was still the weakest link of the show. The timer is obnoxious. It’s just a constant distraction and reminder of how the discussion is being forced into a mini-segment. Even the “time’s up” noise itself is obnoxious. It’s not a pleasant thing to hear when you’re interested in the subject being discussed. Please consider reworking or replacing the Speed Run segment of the show.

-The segment transition noises don’t sound good. I realize they’re temporary, but I’m more commenting on the style. They’re meant to sound like “glitch” noises, I get it, that’s the theme that ya’ll decided to go with (which I’m not too keen on), but it’s a jarring style of noise that everyone who recognizes it already associates with “something’s wrong”. I don’t think the novelty of it overcomes the negativity of it, and is something that will likely become worse over time.

I felt like the last 2/3 of the show is where it really shined. Lot’s of freely flowing conversation, with much less acknowledgment of “structure” of the show. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s mostly what I listen to podcasts for.

Looking forward to more of this show, however it ends up looking!

I'm really enjoying this podcast overall! It's very informative without being overwhelmingly about one thing if I don't happen to be terribly interested in the "Game of the Week" and is engaging about the topics.

The only thing I really don't like is that the segment change sound bite is extremely grating. It takes a podcast I can easily listen to in order to relax and adds random bursts of auditory anxiety.

I'm not so sure about the time limit on the screen, talk your topics. take your time and give your opinions. don't limit yourself. some of the best conversations come from the tangents.
