All this talk about cooperative mulitplayer in primarily single-player rpgs and no mention of the Tales series that's had it built into the vast majority of their games for the past couple dacades. How unfortunate. Great series, and really fun for friends and family to plug in an extra controller and tag along for battles.

What game do I go back to repeatedly? Well I have the Force unleashed on Wii, PS2 And pc. So that's one that I've played multiple times. Then there's Horizon Zero Dawn. I've Platinumed it and now I have like 20 hours in the new game plus on ultra hard. Can't wait for the new frozen wilds dlc

Thanks so much for answering my question! I can totally understand never-ending games as ones that you pick up every once and a while, with gaps in between. I find myself  returning to old RTS games a lot like Dawn of War or Supreme Commander. Similar to what was said in the main show, I've never been good and I like playing against bots. I find it interesting what kinds of games people go back to constantly through their lives, even with huge gaps of time in between.

For MMOs I strangely think about the "1 Hour $1" Saying. If I get to play FFXIV for at least $15 a month then if I play around 15 hours of it then it is worth my time and money compared to other games I have spent money on. And this coming from a student that spends 4 out of 3 days in a classroom.

Also played the FFXV Multiplayer Beta. It isn't that bad besides it just being a test and fixing up the server issues. When they add more stuff during release and it will be pretty fun Monster Hunter-like multiplayer.

Shovel Knight for me. Such a dramatically excellent platofrmer that I didn't realised that I had been craving for so long. Difficult enough to challenge but never impossible, plus achievements/trophies based on how you play means great replayability. That and if you bought the game at the begining you get all the DLCs free and still hold true to that deal. Plague Knight isn't as good, still great though, but the Spectre Knight DLC hits it out of the park again

I was looking at my record on Halo Waypoint yesterday, and apparently I've played 911 single-player missions on the MCC and logged 9 days in it, not even counting 5, Reach and all the original versions of the games.  But I can't count all my playthroughs of all the Mass Effects, Dragon Ages, KOTORs, Portals, Mirror's Edge 1, and Final Fantasy 10 and 15, even though I play maybe 6 hours a week.

I'm so glad Adam brought up Terraria, I've been watching his and Joel's old stream play through and it's great! I'd be so stoked to see a Ashley and Adam stream!

I couldn't disagree more with Adam in Dark Souls PvP, for me it's so laggy it's almost completely unplayable, and when it's not supper laggy the enemy players run forever or until they are hiding behind sufficiently powerful mobs so you can't fight them.  It infuriates me but it's unavoidable if I'm playing with a friend.  Other than that the game is brilliant.
