Re: an acceptable way to get epic stuff

In Sky Factory, the ultimate stuff is very grindy... except the goal of Sky Factory is to automate everything (hence, "factory"). I make very little anymore. The factory makes most things, even when it has to make 1024 items first. 24 of the 512k Fluid Disks would take forever by hand given how many of the previous tiers it takes to make subsequent tiers and 512k drives are the 4th tier. I built Refined Storage, with crafters and solderers and patters, told it what I wanted, and came back after decorating the treehouse to find it finished. I'm also working on automating things that don't directly integrate with Refined Storage so I won't even need to manually transmute things, either. For the next reactor (which I don't really need), I needed over 16K Nether Stars. I had the factory feed create materials and feed them into a builder which teleported the resulting Withers to a kill-box with collectors that fed the loot back into the factory. I have 17K Nether Stars that took only a few hours and also collected a lot of liquid XP to feed into a soul-binding device needed to make all kinds of things. Something else did

I would offer the idea for getting epic stuff that you either a) grind by hand or b) design and build something so you don't have to (and do it without cheating).

I thought I would have had to eat two fish thingies, but when I went back to the reference card, it said that とじる is to close and おわる is to finish. So, I would only have to eat for しばらく おまちください. (Oof. I'm glad I'm using the phonetic IME of Katakana and Hiragana. One look at the other IME variants broke my brain.)

the word for facial hair is hige (as they don't have specific words for moustache and beard), it just refers to facial hair as a whole.

Here a Japanese Teacher explains why "は" is sometimes read as "wa". Long story short - it's a history thing (as most things are). The internets know everything! :)

I like it when the "ultimate weapon" is not required at all to beat a game, and you gain it from doing character specific story quests. e.g. the last remnant, to get the ultimate weapon, you need to bother to seek out party member that's hanging out in town during story down time. Talk to them and pick up some item that they mentioned in the conversation so the next time you see them you can give it to them to start a side quest for their ultimate weapon.

I felt this is more than just ticking a box off the checklist for an achievement, and the weapon has more meaning to it.

    Speaking from an rpg-centered perspective,

I think my prefered way to get an ultimate weapon would be from a chest or midboss on your way through a game's extra dungeon (as in an optional/secret dungeon late or post game). That, or like a collusium/arena location that's available late or post game. I'm not a fan of having to do minigames or search quests or crafting to gain ultimate weapons. Ultimate weapons are made for fighting, so I think it makes sense to making it a reward for fighting well (or fighting through half a difficult dungeon to get to it. And I wouldn't put it at the very end, because then there's not much left to use it on.
