@EricHVela Actually Ashley is not 100% correct. In the UK there is the legal defence that you are being singled out for application of a law - i.e. if the police want to prosecute you they also have to enforce the law (to the best of their ability) against everyone else too otherwise the law is null and void c.f. prosecutions for breach of copyright on cassette tapes never stuck in the UK because such a high percentage of people copied music onto cassette tape so it was never enforceable even if there was clear evidence because the police simply couldn't prosecute more than half the population of the UK for it - the courts could never have handled all the prosecutions.

TDLR; if the streamer is based in the UK and his contention that "everyone is doing it" is something he can prove to a large extent it could be pretty difficult to actually prosecute him.

P.S. (S)He might be open to breach of contract (either his TV subscription or Twitch account) as long as those contracts are valid in the UK (a lot of plastic wrap contracts and online contracts are unenforceable in the EU due to past EU Court decisions - including, but not limited to, most of FacePalm's and a lot of computer game and software licenses (particularly Microsoft's)).

Bye bye, Respawn. Everything you've said has been said by every other developer that EA acquired, chewed up, swallowed, and pooped out.

EA must be good at blackmailing people.

I think there's a strategy simulation game out there somewhere where you can acquire tribes into your own tribe to boost the number of workers and warriors and, then, eat them for food. Probably based on real events.

Yeah. Ashley's 100% correct. They don't have to go after everyone. That's like saying police need to stop everyone else that was also speeding at the time you were stopped. They only go after the ones that they catch, and the attention he got is what got him caught.

Part of PUBG is whether or not you can see another player. Cosmetic things can affect gameplay in that aspect. They'll need to tread extremely carefully... unless Tencent is pulling the strings, in which case, none of it matters and they'll MT whatever they please - pay-to-win included.

    "Invisibility is purely cosmetic." Right?

I don't think that it's so weird for Tarantino to do Star Trek. (Nobody thinks T will direct, though. Still don't think it's that crazy of an idea.)

I don't think T would do a Pulp Fiction or Inglorious Basterds version of Star Trek. He loves the franchise. Sadly, people are obviously expecting something like that from him. He's been typecast, and it will be difficult for him to do anything different and have people accept it.

... but it's possible he could create a Star Trek unlike anything he's ever done and it could be OMGthatwasawesome. One can merely try to predict what audiences will do, but sometimes, audiences lose their minds over things not worthy and ignore things worthy of losing their minds. It's not an exact science.
