    It's kind of funny hearing Monster Hunter talked about as if it were a typical JRPG. I'm glad World is getting a ton of publicity but I'm also scared that people will get the wrong idea, hate the game when it's not what they expect, and then convince other people it's bad because of that.

    Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's story or "Offline Mode" took me around 150 hours to complete. But certain quests were locked behind your "Online Mode" progression, which could be done solo if you were strong enough. So that stretched it out a lot. But honestly, the offline story has never been the bread and butter of any MH game. In the past, I would always crush the offline mode first, then step online and never look back. (Kinda did the same for games like Halo..) But since they've said the Story quests in MHW can be enjoyed solo or with multiplayer tells me I will be replaying them a lot. Just for funsies.
