News Roundups: New 2D Zelda Coming? + Need for Speed Payback... Sucks? + Disney Boycott

Happy N7 day guys....right? Phil Spencer is kinda walking back some of those mutliplatform comments, Xbox One X might sell double what analysts projected, there are signs that another 2D Zelda game could be in the works, Sony's teasing their PSX announcements, CoD: World War II's player numbers are way, way up, Need for Speed: Payback has some haters, Destiny 2 might have gotten another wave of PC bans, and Justice League got its run time mandated by the studio.

I still don't understand how they can get away with deciding that there will be no DLC for Andromeda when they said there was going to be beforehand... in Scotland that would be breech of contract and they'd have to refund gamers who bought the game with the expectation of DLC being upcoming... I'm surprised that this is not the case in such a litigious country as the USA!

Either way - I would also classify it as misadvertising, breech of trading standards (failure to make good on services promised with the purchase) and potentially false advertising (if they knew that the DLC being produced was contingent on how well the game did) and conspiracy to defraud (if they already had any idea of how badly received it was going to be - which, let's be honest, they must have unless none of the people seeing what was going to be released ever play games... in which case what the hell are they doing being employed at a game developer.

71 for NFS is bad? GT Sport has 76 for goodness sake! 71 is still at least a 'fun' game, right? Right?

Yeah, but motor sport fans are REALLY picky... there are a few people I
know who won't play anything except the same sim that F1 drivers use to
test software setups for their cars when they can't use the actual car
(e.e.g it's still being built)... it even simulates the gravel that gets
put on the track and how that affect grip etc. (to be fair they are
also willing to pony up a LOT of money for the privileg; the F1 fans
have to pay hundreds of pounds to get their sim software (never mind
high enough end PC rigs to run it well). So yeah, 71 is pretty average
by their standards - if you just want to mess around though then you
don't buy such a grindy game so, you buy one of the rally or lower tier
      fun games...

It's a bitter N7 day. Lots of people who worked on the series are interested in keeping it alive (and working on further installations) according to their twitter feeds, but right now, many fans aren't hopeful according to their twitter feeds.
