Game review aggregator Metacritic has become a staple in the videogame industry for bringing together all the biggest reviews for games, doing some secret math, and handing out an aggregate score. But there's a new kid in town, OpenCritic, and they're accusing Metacritic of anti-competitive practices to keep out competition.

    Personally I don't go to metacritic.  

    I see what you have to say about a game and look up gameplay of the game and see if I would like it.  It is usually the AH guys.

    i honestly dont remember the last time i was on metacritic to see what a game scored.

    But seriously... people care far too much about other peoples' opinions of games (etc.); especially people who aren't even that good at playing those games (mentioning no names!) - learn what sort of thing you like and go with that, and if it isn't realistic graphics then check out the back catalogue of old games... the ones still being sold/played are likely to be the best of the genre or else they would have been dropped by now so it gets even easier! :)
