As a small YouTuber I can tell you it is very frustrating. I have two channels one is for stuff I'm trying to make that is my 'brand'. The other channel is just a fun fan channel (same names as my RT username) that is for funny fan videos I make. The frustrating thing? The fan channel that I both legally and morally can't make money off of is the one that 'qualifies' for monetization. The 10,000 views thing is kicking my ass.

YouTube is not an FCC regulated platform.  Companies were aware of this before they started throwing money at YouTube.  Now they're getting butt hurt because some of their ads ended up on some videos that someone on the internet didn't agree with?  News flash it's 2017, almost 2018 at this point, everyone is offended by everything so get over it.  You're advertising a product or service you're trying to sell not endorsing whatever message on whatever random video your placed on.  I'm sorry but the onus is on YouTube here to make sure advertisers are aware of this given the nature of the platform itself.  They can choose to spend their money advertising elsewhere but YouTube is the one having a hard time giving up those dollars.  So now content creators are the ones made to suffer for it.

Controversies with folks having a difference of opinions

like campaigning to repeal constitutional rights for Guns, GayMarriange, or Being Muslim.

While its nice for Youtube to say they will get fewer "False Positives",

the problem remains that they consider a Legit Positive to be vids on the side of controversies that Youtube Execs oppose.

Its fine to have vids peacefully calling for the repeal of the 2nd amendment to deny Gun Rights, but youtube Flags and DoubleSecret Probation vids that peacefully call for Amending the 1st amendment to deny Muslims Rights, or the 24th amd to end Gay Rights.

Seems Youtube has their own list of what Rights you can campaign to repeal,

and which rights you cant campaign to repeal

Youtube has a program they literally admit

is for punishing vids that DIDNT break any rules.... just a censorship program of legit vids of subjects they dont want discussed openly
