Assassin's Creed Movie Will It FAIL?

Entertainment News: Assassin's Creed Movie Will It FAIL?

Could we be in an alternate universe where a video game movie might actually be GOOD? The Assassin's Creed trailer hit last night, and looks surprisingly like the game. But is the franchise relevant anymore?

Ubisoft themselves don't care about their established properties, AC is kind of the poster child for that observation. Besides that the games are longest most convoluted mess of a story in entertainment. You think this will be any different after the condense it to an hour 45 minutes. This movie will have a confusing nonsensical story used as an excuse to platform ridiculous stunts and CG to boost sales of their garbage games.

A few of the Video Game Composers, a few who worked on the AC games, were impressed by the trailer except for the music (not surprising, though). I think they should ask the VG composers to give the film a shot, but unions and all that have complicated rules as who can do what.

Let's hope that they put the Spanish Inquisition in a more accurate light -- a thing that the HRCC did not approve and a thing that the Spanish created out of spite for the HRCC typically light-handed approach. Then again, it's far more popular to lump the whole belief system together for simplifying the story than showing how fractured, convoluted and largely individual it all really is despite of -- and actually because of -- the hierarchy. (Me and the HRCC are at odds in many, many, many things, but the Spanish Inquisition is not its fault.)

Alright what does HRCC stand for.

Comment curtesy talk people, if you abbreviate something have some thing for it to reference. AC for assassins creed is fine here because the video is about Assassins Creed, maybe not so much in a doom video. I see this all the time, it's confusing, sorry rant over

true but he goes back home in 1492. which leads up to the start of brotherhood. so he is in rome and is still about 8 years too early for the movie. I'm ust hoping to a reference or two.
