No Man's Sky Designer Moves on to Star Citizen

Game News: No Man's Sky Designer Moves on to Star Citizen

A designer on No Man's Sky has jumped ship to work on Star Citizen's standalone game, Squadron 42. He does have plenty of experience with building space games. Not great ones, but... definitely space games. Fear, ye Star Citizen fans. And wonder if NMS will ever be fixed, ye angry space explorers.

Maybe they just hired someone from the company just so they knew what to avoid doing? :D

These news reads are just way too long now. Like, seriously, I would say less than two minutes were dedicated to anything relevant to "Hello Game's member leaving to join Star Citizen developers" and the brief topic of how that's a regular thing in the industry. The rest of the story was off-handed banter, shitting on No Man Sky, the treatment of No Man Sky, Star Citizen's earnings every time Star Citizen is brought up on this channel, and so on

I like the back and forth. It's what makes The Know different to my other gaming news outlets. But they've gotta be shortened down to at least a lot less than this. This story doesn't even deserve a 3 minute video. The long ass Dead Rising 4 news story could have been 5 minutes easily. How is it possible to justify a news story being almost 10 minutes when the recent Immersions were about 12?

I personally like that they are putting all of the necessary backround into their reads. It is very helpful to understand the context of the news and why the things they are reporting on are important

It's not like The Know's news stories have lengthened or anything so this is not much different from normal... so if you don't like them, don't watch them. Though you might want to stick with the round ups since they are about the same length but with a lot more stories... sound more like your style.

Also, lots of people are interesting in Star Citizen... where do you think all that money came from after all? They are gonna keep it up until after it's finally released and nothing's is likely to change that.
