    If it was just targeting the game files then surely It would just be a simple case of reinstalling them from the original source.

      Sure, at the cost of all of your save files. I mean, how much would someone be willing to pay to get back the Skyrim or Minecraft save that they had poured a thousand or so hours into?

    Step one. Don't log into your computers as an Admin for day-to-day stuff and use Admin privileges only as elevation when necessary when possible.

    Step two. ???

    Step three: Profit.

    (I do this at home and work even though I'm the sysadmin at work. The household and entire workplace do this. No exceptions. ... and no problems since the policy began.)


    That advice Ryan gave is also good advice that I always tell to people.
