I LOVED the battlefront games, and was so excited to hear about a new one... until I heard there will be no single player campaign. :( I might not even buy the new one at all.

Also, Gus needs to burn that shirt.

A quote from Gus to tuck away for later: "I'd much rather it be delayed."

Does the audio randomly skip for anyone else? I've replayed the parts of the video where it happened and it happened again. That is the video right?

Yeah, same thing happens for me throughout the video even though my internet connection is fine and none of the other videos are having this problem.

Yup, I was just about to comment the same... and towards the end the audio was marginally out of sync with the video (audio lagging :( - thankfully I mostly just listen to The Patch so it was no so distracting as it might have been on The Podcast...

Forgot to say that this was on Youtube as I still can't get the video player to work on here - it was when the new site originally launched but no longer :(

Sorry Ashley, you have your genealogy of Gamestop wrong. Babbage's and Software, Etc. merged then were bought by Barnes & Noble. Later Funcoland was bought and the combined companies became Gamestop. In 2005/6 Gamestop spun off from B&N to merge with EBGames. EBGames/EBX formed from the merger of Electronic Boutique and Planet X.

I know I'm a bit late to the game, but I agree with most of what I've read that Campaigns do totally matter.

My favorite Call of Duty game was Modern Warfare because I loved Captain Price. The way it ended was heart wrenching. Playing MW2 and being able to rescue Captain Price was just amazing.
They can totally create amazing story telling. It falls back onto the beginning conversation where it is lazy game development.

I don't mind what is included in a game, just so long as what they do decide to do is great - there's no point in dragging a good game down with lame content... (plus it maybe a lot of extra time that would be better spent making the game bug-less... and we know they need more of that!)

I kinda gave up on Rainbow Six around the time 3 came out...it felt too arcadey and lost a lot of the strategy feel of planning the mission the first two had. It was always about the single player. Oddly enough, that was back when I tried multiplayer a bit...and Ghost Recon had some game types that were similar enough to Horde mode that made realize I really don't like 'defend this spot' gameplay. This was also around the time UT2004 came out, and while I learned I didn't care for multiplayer, even with friends and acquaintances too much, playing a Multiplayer designed game solo with bots can be extremely fun. I really wish more companies would give that option. (That would even be a great option for when they shut down servers...patch in local/LAN and bots.)

Aside from that...it appears Gus (and to some extent Austin) is back to being spoiled with bandwidth and forgetting some of us either have slow (6Mbps down here) connections or data caps (Comcast still has a 'soft' 300GB cap...you'll pay $10 for every 50GB over that).

You can install with just the key, the disc is there so you can install the bulk of it from disc and download updates, etc. I'm also guessing the multiple key formats is from acquisitions and partnerships that had differing formats, since it's easier to allow multiple than to require older keys be turned in for new ones.

Meg, you said your favourite RT videos are Burnie Eats Shit and what? Cat Burnie?

Does that mean the Catbug RTAA or the Cat Videos short or did you say Burnie when you meant Gus, referring to Ninja Gus?

I LOVE Gus's awkward segues into ad reads.

idk unpopular opinion maybe? but I usually prefer buying disks for big steam games because I dont want to use up my data downloading a huge game.. right?

I keep buying discs for this reason but considering every game gets massive patches these days it feels like wasted effort.

Discs are gonna stick around because of cash purchases, if you don't have a credit or debit card discs and gamestop are the most convient way to get games

He's a nobody striving for attention in a pathetic way, a "pro troll" in a sense. He's nothing and will be forgotten before the years up unless he makes another pathetic attempt at standing out. Just ignore it hm

I never played the multiplayer but okay your experience is obviously the one that matters.. I get why you see it that way but I always played the single player or split screen campaign. I never played the online multiplayer. And most of the people I know experienced the game the same way. Obviously you didn't because you literally played that one way as a profession..

The connection between Houston and Apollo 11 was around 1 kbs unless I'm mistaken. How would I find such information? With a magic wand??? I shall say it forcefully then. 'Tis true!!!

Are the glitches due to the recording, or the playback? Getting some skipping.

I think it was the recorded video...rewinding lead to the glitches in the same places, though that could be a cache issue somewhere.

Do other users still have problems getting videos to play without massive buffering since they switched to the new site? I seem to get it with about one video a week.
