I'm surprised that no one brought up the bad press with people getting kicked out of public places over wearing Google Glass, as one of the bigger issues they faced when they came out. The public reacted very badly to the idea that any Google Glass user could record them without their knowledge, mostly caused by the glasses being as unobtrusive as Meg commented. I wonder if any VR sets have smiular functions that the public would want to know about before they drop the cash?

About the fight with Paul, the mechanic is actually introduced early on, it's just Paul's version of the Time Blast ability. Which can kill just about any enemy in the game, and can be used through walls.

In terms of Gus' dissatisfaction with the ending of Quantum Break, it's very much setting up for another instalment. There's an entire part of the mythos they've created which they constantly hint at, yet you never experience (I believe if you've played, you probably know what I'm talking about, so I won't spoil it). There's also the matter of the apparent death of a certain character whose fate is then called into question (I don't think that's a spoiler). It all points toward (hopefully) a sequel.

That doesn't make it the best ending of all time, but it is intriguing.

The talk about robots & sex reminded me of an episode of CSI: Cyber where an online sex toy that captures one partner's motion, transmits it over the internet, and recreates the motion for the other partner, was hacked. I forget if the online transmission was just copied by the hacker for his enjoyment, or if he substituted his own "signal" to the woman's device.

I had to look it back up, but apparently it was Season 2, Episode 7, ''Corrupted Memory". Here's a video clip from CBS about this episode and the device: http://www.cbs.com/shows/csi-cyber/video/641EC2BD-...

Just wanted to make a point that Ryan isn't correct about the cutscenes being only online. You can download them directly through the download section on the main menu.

It's one of the most intriguing new technologies and it just released to the public. They're obviously going to talk about it quite a bit at least for the next couple weeks.

Since Ashley mentioned 3D while they were talking about VR, all I want is a VR headset with 3D visuals. SUPER IMMERSIVE!!

Is it actually possible to solve motion sickness? I feel like that is completely a human body issue, not a software issue. If that is correct, than Meg will constantly get motion sick (unless she gets used to it or if a solution is found through the use of medicine/surgery).

Most motion sickness is caused by losing your sense of location or not being grounded. Which is why people get sick on a boat or in a car where they're not controlling their own motion. They're getting past this somewhat in VR games by having the tip of a virtual nose in the game. This allows your brain to have a reference point for where your eyes are.

Works surprisingly well for a lot of people.

with current production methods, computers will reach the maximum ability in a few years. So unless someone creates a much more efficient method of computing, full computers in a glasses form is completely unfeasible

i wonder...how could you explain a sex bot to a caveman? or Virtual reality?

    • NinjaPups

Virtual Reality would take so much time to explain it wouldn't be worth it, but all you'd have to do is just give the sexbot to the caveman and he'd probably eventually figure it out XD

Gavin should start coating/spraying his cables with something to deter the cat from chewing on them. Like how cans of compressed air have bittering agents to prevent people from huffing them.

Everything about VR seems cool, but as someone who is in a wheelchair, it doesn't really feel like it's going to do me any good at all, which is disappointing.

You'd still see the depth better than on a TV. Most people don't have the space to walk around either. Sorry if that sounds insensitive.
