I've been on the fence about this one, but I'm definitely going to play it now!

    Also, nice belly Ryan.

I feel compelled to play this game because my real name is Ethan but I don't like creepy games....or the fact that the whole game is Ethan slowly dieing......much internal conflict.

You guys should definitely play Murdered: Soul Suspect. It is a similar type of game in the detective idea and twist ending, but the game different enough to give it a play. It is really enjoyable, and you should give it a go!

I think you guys should play the game "Jazzpunk". You can find it on steam. It's a really hilarious and fun game I think you would all enjoy.

I'm really glad Ryan finally got other people to play the game and discuss it considering how often he would bring it up when listing his favorite games last year.

Suggestion for the Cylinder of Selection: The Beginner's Guide

It's basically a guided tour that tells the story of a person through their very small and artistic games. It's also from the guy who made The Stanley Parable and invites discussion just as much as that did but almost resembles an interactive film because of how linear it is. Only takes ~90 minutes to get through and seems like a great game for game club.

Not sure if this is the right place to put it but. They should play Undertale It's a short indie RPG on Steam it's like 6-8 hours a playthrough and so many decisions effect so many things some small some huge

Ashley didn't say it, but the Astronauts didn't produce Soma, Frictional Games did (makers of Amnesia). Speaking of Soma, Patch Game Club should really play it! It's a very interesting story, but it is a full-fledged game so a bit longer than the other ones played lately.

I would like to suggest Eternal Senia its a free game on steam that is a top down action RPG with a good story, decent English as it's not the maker's first language, and multiple endings. Best part is it should only take 3-5 hours depending on if you do any grinding.

My friend and I both started The Ethan Carter about at the same time (and we ended up watching the end of the game together), and both of us (independently) skipped the Astronaut's story. Not on purpose, that is; I myself also skipped the first murder scene, not knowing how to solve it. The Wizard (Moonshiner) story and The Witch story are the ones I started with, and I don't think I had the same confusion build up as you described in the game club.

On a different note, I got it from the summer sale (maybe $8?) but I don't actually feel like $20 would be too much. Good to hear that PS4 will be getting it soon.
